Nite Owl Cocktail Lounge Gets a New Mural
Nite Owl cocktail lounge is on the corner of Garnet Ave and Mission Bay Drive.
Hanna Daly was hired as muralist by the new owner to paint the wall. Including the owl the wall on the right is going to say “San Diego Classic. Since 1962” in neon letters similar to the third image.
Committed to Sustainability
This five-level, 216,000-sqare foot, 620-car parking structure is Foothill Transit’s first-ever agency-owned park and ride facility. The facility has pedestrian plazas, secure bike lockers for local cyclists, LED lighting and a large mural by California artist Hannah Daly. Future plans include 18 electric vehicle charging stations and rooftop solar panels.
Anti-gun Violence Murals
A San Diego artist wants to paint murals around the city that she hopes can help bring an end to gun violence.
"My concept is just something beautiful that people can take a picture in front of and just really enjoy the artwork of it but also take a message away from it," says Hanna Daly.
